Over the years, Sparksight, has had the honor of partnering with a handful of dedicated local nonprofits each year. This partnership comes in the form of creative production – hand-crafted nonprofit video pieces that tell each business’ unique narrative and raise awareness of all the goodwill they bring to the community.
There are over 5,660 non-profits in Austin alone, and many more beyond the city limits and across the country. Like all businesses, these nonprofits benefit from compelling video content, increasing awareness and driving donations and volunteer recruitment.
While Sparksight may not be a nonprofit video agency, we certainly believe in a culture of giving back. Over the past 5 years we’ve had the honor of collaborating with stellar organizations like these listed below.
- Hope House is an organization that provides permanent residence and nurturing community for people of all ages living with mental and physical disabilities.
- Power for Parkinson’s provides free exercise classes to individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. The classes promote not only a healthy lifestyle, but also aid in boosting participants’ independence through strength building and disease management.
- Survive2Thrive is on a mission to address a need in the domestic violence recovery system. Rather than victims bouncing between shelters or being turned away altogether, Survive2Thrive moves victims from victimization to empowerment to survivor success.
- Heart Gift brings care to children from around the world in the form of free surgery to correct life-threatening congenital heart defects.
- Hand to Hold provides support to parents of preemies by matching them with peers who have been through similar experiences with their children.
- Breakthrough Central Texas targets middle school through college aged students in low-income communities to provide extended learning, comprehensive advising, and leadership experiences. Their commitment helps these students find success in becoming a first generation college graduate in their family.
Through running point on many of these projects, I’ve had the privlege and honor of meeting and learning from the incredible people who run these organizations. The outpouring of passion is unrivaled, but translating that to an audience of volunteers and donors in a way that resonates isn’t the easiest task. This is where video steps up to the plate and meets that need.
Personally sitting on the board of the local non-profit GEMS United has given me an insight and understanding of nonprofit video’s impact, that I otherwise may not have fully grasped.
There is not a more compelling and efficient way to communicate a message than with video. When incorporating quality nonprofit video content into any marketing strategy, you can expect to see results in numerous ways. From increased website traffic giving you greater visiblity, to higher conversion rates helping you reach your goals, the list of possiblities is extensive.
The greatest perk of video is that it can be molded, moved, used, and reused to meet and exceed your needs, and companies like Sparksight are excited to help you do it!
We love seeing our clients succeed – both nonprofit and otherwise – and we will continue giving back and supporting the incredible organizations our city has to offer.
